As we had already worked on our main floor and basement, with Geeta, we had been very impressed with her knowledge, ideas, and her genuine interest in ensuring we get the best. We were just as excited to continue working with her for the remodeling of our bathrooms. We felt very comfortable knowing that we would get the best bathrooms possible to suit our needs, wants and budget. She was very patient and her attention to detail saw the project through from start to finish. She ensured our comforts were foremost and strived to make the process go smoothly with as little disruption as possible. Always making herself available to answer any questions or concerns we had. Our old bathrooms were looking quite gloomy and tired but more importantly were not very functional. The main bathroom had a vanity with no drawers which made storing small items difficult especially considering that we have three boys using that space. The master bathroom was also not functional as it had only one sink for the two of us and had very limited drawers for organization. This was remodeled to have two sinks and many drawers including two large linen towers. This made it so much easier and enjoyable for us to use. The two niches next to the bathtub had no shelving which again were not functional. Geeta designed them to look nice with tiles and also added glass shelving for displaying items. I also did not have a designated area for getting ready and applying makeup. Geeta was very innovative in designing a beautiful makeup area for me. Geeta also designed a very functional and beautiful bathroom in our basement which is great when entertaining a large number of guests. We are very excited about our new bathrooms as they have given us great organization and a great place to get ready for the start of our day. We would definitely recommend Geeta at Kimaya Designs for any renovation projects.

Thank you so much for helping me renovate my kitchen. We are so happy you were able to help us transform our outdated kitchen. My old kitchen made me feel very old-fashioned and uncomfortable. Because of the old style, I felt it was never clean enough even though I had wiped it over and over again. The tile counter surface was so frustrating to keep clean. There was not enough counter space to prepare the food for cooking as most of the spices and oil bottles were on the counter. I was apprehensive at first to get the kitchen project going as I dislike the dusty and messy part of the renovation process. However, we really needed a modern kitchen that suits our cooking needs and my children's cooking hobby and so I decided we needed help to get this going. From the time I first met Geeta of Kimaya Designs, I felt very comfortable. I liked the way Geeta presented the designs to me as I'm very visual. She helped make my decisions easy by asking me specific questions and understanding my needs to simplify my selections. Every time I enter my new kitchen I am still amazed at the incredible transformation. Thanks to your vision, it has gone from a builder’s 1980’s small dysfunctional space to a new open-concept highly organized one. You were able to take the important concepts for me and turn them into a functional reality. We had been warned that the construction process would be very disruptive; but you were able to give us guidelines throughout the whole project, so everything went very smoothly. I was talking about this project for over a year, but it took your professional guidance to make it a reality. It only took 1 month from start-to-finish and when I look back at the pictures which were taken on the first day it is hard to remember the kitchen I had then. It seems so long ago now. I would never hesitate to recommend you to anyone who is considering a renovation project of their own. If we need any further work done here, I would definitely call on you again. I am so pleased that I consulted with Geeta, had I attempted to work on the hotel transformation on my own, I think the results would have been far from what was desired and what the true potential of the space actually was. At first, I just had some questions, as the public areas (lobby, restaurant, restrooms) of the property were looking drab and run down and need a facelift and some upgrading, and it was apparent that I could use a great deal more help and advice. Geeta had the knowledge, experience and expertise to help me sift through options and ideas that I had not considered. I, being a person who takes pleasure in fashion and style working with Geeta gave me a greater understanding of color, materials and other elements of design in relation to space which in turn gave me greater confidence in selecting the various elements in the project that weren't just okay together, rather everything meshed beautifully. From the time I spoke to Geeta about the project, she was very warm & I felt very comfortable and trusted her explicitly. She's very patient and always ready to listen & guide you through to the finest details. I knew that she would help create a space that was appealing and welcoming to our guests. Being the fact, that it was long distance, yet she was readily available via phone or Skype which made the process very smooth. My husband and I met with Geeta to discuss the remodeling of our kitchen and we were very impressed with her knowledge, ideas, and her genuine interest in ensuring we get the best kitchen possible to suit our needs, wants, and budget. The centre island made the space crowded and was not comfortable for more than one person to work in the area. Geeta was very competent in designing a kitchen that not only looks beautiful but is also very functional. She added many drawers and incorporated pull outs in the cupboards which make accessing things much easier and has given us a place for all of our kitchen necessities. The removal of the centre island and the new design has given us much more space in the cooking area which makes it very comfortable when my husband and I are cooking together. In Summary we are very excited about our new kitchen as it has given us great organization and it has made cooking a pleasure and enjoyable. We were able to cook for almost thirty people during the holidays without hesitation and any frustration due to the functionality of the space.
