My old kitchen made me feel very old-fashioned and uncomfortable. Because of the old style, I felt it was never clean enough even though I had wiped it over and over again. The tile counter surface was so frustrating to keep clean. There was not enough counter space to prepare the food for cooking as most of the spices and oil bottles were on the counter.
I was apprehensive at first to get the kitchen project going as I dislike the dusty and messy part of the renovation process. However, we really needed a modern kitchen that suits our cooking needs and my children’s cooking hobby and so I decided we needed help to get this going.
From the time I first met Geeta of Kimaya Designs, I felt very comfortable. I liked the way Geeta presented the designs to me as I’m very visual. She helped make my decisions easy by asking me specific questions and understanding my needs to simplify my selections. What I liked best is that Geeta kept on confirming my decision about the tile, the color, the counter top, and other details again and again.
